THERE won't be any snowmen appearing across the landscape just yet, as Met Eireann has said the worst weather is behind us.

Forecaster Vincent O'Shea said Met Eireann had revised forecasts given earlier in the week, and that he was "being very optimistic" for the coming days, saying "the real cold weather is behind us".

Rain is expected today, but there is no need to dust down the wellington boots just yet, as it is said that the coming days will be dry, with temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees, which Mr O'Shea described as "normal" for late November.
