Munster and Irish rugby star Donncha O'Callaghan enjoys painting with his nieces Rachel, left, and Aisling and UNICEF's Melanie Verwoerd.
RUGBY star Donncha O'Callaghan got a makeover from his two nieces yesterday, and there was little he could do as they painted his face bright pink.
The UNICEF Ireland Ambassador was ambushed by his two nieces, Rachel (9) and Aisling O'Callaghan (12), while they were painting a picture for entry into the primary schools Art Competition for World Malaria Day, which is being run in association with Fyffes.
They were joined by the executive director of UNICEF Melanie Verwoerd, former partner of Gerry Ryan, who looked very much at ease with the trio.
The winner will be announced next week and selected entries will be displayed on the UNICEF website.
World Malaria Day is on April 25. See www.unicef.ie for info.
