WATCH: Dun Laoghaire RNLI bring yacht and crew to safety after engine failure
Three people escaped injury after the yacht they were sailing in crashed against rocks on the South Bull Wall while entering Dublin Port.
Two people escaped the 31-foot boat after it hit the rocks shortly after 3pm on Wednesday. The third person stayed on the boat as other boats stood-by to assist.
Shortly before 4pm Dun Laoghaire's RNLI lifeboat arrived at the scene. One of the lifeboat crew-member's made his way onto the yacht and cut the anchor that the yacht's crew had deployed after it's engine failed.
The RNLI published a video of the rescue to their Facebook page, which shows the crew pulling the swaying yacht away from the rocks.
