Halloween has come early for the young patients at Temple Street Children's Hospital, who have shared their favourite and scariest things about the spooky day.

Little Alicia Begley (4), Luke Staunton (6) and Grace Cogan (10) put on their scariest costumes to share their opinions on Halloween and what they'll be dressing up as in a few weeks time.

The hospital is currently asking parents, teachers and communities to host a trick or treat party to raise vital funds for their work. The money raised will help upgrade and replace specialised equipment from cardiac monitors to incubators

"Most of the essential life-saving equipment in Temple Street is funded entirely by our loyal family of supporters – such as our heart monitors and incubators. Incubators are carefully enclosed, high-tech cots which allow babies to be safe, monitored and as comfortable as possible," a spokesperson for the hospital said.

"Our incubators are in constant use; we urgently need to replace them so that we can continue to give the best possible care to our little heroes."
