Video: Opportunistic cyclist creates timelapse of Luas track commute on strike day
This opportunistic cyclist used today's Luas strike as a chance to create some video artistry.
Many commuters were impacted as drivers downed tools for the tenth day as the industrial pay dispute rumbles on.
With the tracks on the Luas line unused for 24 hours, a 54-year-old man from Dundrum made the Green line his cycle track for the morning.
Paddy Dunleavy travels to customers in Dublin 2 and to Sandyford/Leopardstown Business Park to fix computers.
"[The Luas line] makes a great cycle track and keeps you fit," he told independent.ie.
"I feel sorry for women with buggies and old or infirm people who depend on [the Luas] to get around."
Take a look at his timelapse footage here.
