Two people have been taken to hospital following a crash on in Dublin.

Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed that they were called to the scene on the Navan Road, in North Dublin.

In a tweet DFB wrote: "Units from Phibsboro and Blanch have attended this RTC on the Navan Road. 2 to hosp as a precaution."

According the the service units from Phibsborough and Blanchardstown attended the scene of the crash which happened this morning.

The accompanied pictures show a badly damaged vehicle flipped upside down on the road.

According to DFB the image (below) shows the point of impact.
