Two men arrested during seizure of cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs worth €460,000
Gardaí have seized a mix of cannabis herb, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs with an estimated value of €460,000.
Two men, (39) and (33), were arrested and are currently detained at Ballymun Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
The drugs were seized during a planned search of two vehicles in the Finglas area yesterday.
Gardai carried out the raid with the assistance of the local community.
Gardai use advanced analytical and intelligence methods to disrupt criminals and dismantle their networks in these operations.
Drug seizures play a critical role in targeting the livelihood of criminals and reducing their ability to carry out illegal activities, a garda spokesperson said.
