Three men seriously injured in crash between car and truck

Three man have been seriously injured in a serious road collision between a truck and a car in Co Wexford this evening.

The incident occurred shortly before 7pm on the Wexford to Duncannon Rd, about 3km from Wexford town.

The three men travelling in the car were taken to Wexford General Hospital where their injuries are described as serious.

Gardaí in Wexford town are investigating a serious RTC which occurred on the Wexford to Duncannon Rd  on the 23rd Dec 2015.

The driver of the truck was uninjured.

The road has been closed to facilitate a Forensic Collision examination and diversions are in place. 

Witness to the collision or anyone who was on the road between 6.40pm and 7pm are asked to contact Wexford Garda station on 053 9165200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
