Three men arrested in connection with €120,000 drug seizure

Three men have been arrested in connection with the seizure of almost €120,000 worth of drugs.

A 33-year-old man and a 35-year-old man were stopped and searched in Cork city as part of an intelligence-led operations.

During the search in Togher, two ounces of heroin with a street value of €8,000 was discovered and seized.

Both men were taken to Togher Garda station where they are currently being detained.

Gardai later found 3/4 of a kilo of heroin and an amount of cocaine during a follow-up search at a property in Blarney, Co Cork.

This seizure has a combined approximate value of €111,000.

A 35-year-old man was arrested at this address and is being detained at Gurranabraher garda station.
