Teenager dies following three car collision in Cavan
A teenager has died following a three car collision in Cavan.
The crash occurred at Kilcogy approximately 7.30am this monring.
The 18-year-old male, who was travelling alone, was fatally injured when his car collided with a truck and another car.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed to Cavan General Hospital where a post mortem will take place.
The road is now closed so gardai can conduct a forensic and technical examination.

The death brings to three the number of lives that have been lost on Irish roads over the Christmas period.
