Six units of Dublin Fire Brigade have fought a blaze in derelict Dublin pub.

The fire broke out yesterday evening at 6pm in the old Horse & Jockey pub on Emmet Road in Inchicore.

There were no reports of any in juries but road closures were put in place as the flames were brought under control.

Units from Dolphins Barn, Donnybrook, Tara Street and Phibsboro fire stations, including four fire tenders, a turntable ladder unit and a foam tender, were used in dealing with the incident.
