One lucky Irish punter woke up €500,000 richer today, after Friday's EuroMillions draw.

The lucky winner, from the Midlands, scooped the half-a-million in the EuroMillions Plus draw.

The winning numbers were 10, 31, 34, 47 and 49.

There were no winners of the main Jackpot of €36 million, the winning number of which were 16, 28, 42, 43, 45 and the lucky stars were 6 and 7.

Another 10 players will profit from the Ireland Only Raffle Draw as they take home €5,000 each.

The six-figure haul comes after a Kildare player won €795,450, by matching five numbers and the bonus ball, in Wednesday’s National Lotto draw, just missing out on the €5.68 million jackpot by one number.

That Quick Pick ticket was bought at the Motorway Services Area, in Mayfield, Monasterevin.

Winners have 90 days to claim their prize, so anyone who may have the winning numbers are advised to contact the National Lottery as soon as possible.
