Rush hour traffic is moving slow across the capital this morning as Gardaí deal with two separate road incidents.

Gardaí are dealing with a collision on the M50 northbound before the M1 roundabout.

Emergency services were called to the scene and traffic is "slow moving" on the M50/M1 Northbound after Ballymun.

AA Roadwatch report that the right lane is blocked and there are "heavy delays on approach".

Meanwhile there was a second incident on the slip from the N3 Navan Road inbound onto the M50 southbound.

It has since been cleared but there are delays on approach from J4 Clonee.

Outside the capital, Gardai report that the N16 Sligo/Enniskillen Rd is heavily flooded.

Motorists are urged to exercise "extreme care" along the road.

In Cork, Gardaí are dealing with a multi-vehicle crash on N22 Killarney/Cork Rd eastbound in Ovens.

Long delays are reported as a result.
