Members of the Munster Rugby squad hit the streets runn-ing as part of the 2014 Munster Race.

The ultimate team-building exercise saw the Irish Independent-sponsored squad leave Meade's newsagents in Clonakilty, Co Cork, armed with hundreds of copies of the newspaper which they sold to local residents as part of their unique challenge. All proceeds from the sale will be donated to the team's designated charity.

Team "Indo" members Stephen Archer, Cian Bohane, Duncan Casey, Robin Copeland, James Cronin, Paul O'Connell, Cathal Sheridan and CJ Stander donned special Irish Independent jackets as they played paperboys to the delight of local children and residents.

The squad will move on to the Ring of Kerry today as six teams wind their way through six counties where they will be assigned various tasks before gathering in Dingle at 5pm for a breather. They'll then host an open training session at Rugbaí Corca Dhuibhne on the Dingle peninsula on Friday morning.

Supporters can follow the action on the team's live blog on the Munster Rugby website.
