Pedestrian (27) killed after being struck by truck on M1 close to Balbriggan junction
A 27-year-old man has been killed in a road traffic incident on the M1 on Monday evening at around 7pm.
Gardaí are investigating the collision that occurred between a truck and a pedestrian just after junction 5 at Balbriggan.
The man's body has been removed to James Connolly Memorial Hospital Mortuary.
The driver of the truck was uninjured in the collision.

The scene on the M1 is currently closed as forensic investigators are at scene and local diversions are in place.
