Panto queen Twink overjoyed to be reunited with her beloved Teddy

Twink’s beloved Yorkshire terrier was found late last night after gardai got a tip-off from a member of the public.

And the entertainer is overjoyed to have Teddy back with her brood in Knocklyon.

“I can’t tell you how relieved I am,” she said. “I really didn’t think we were going to get him back. It had been almost a week and I was convinced that he had was dead.

“The amount of dogs being taken around the country is ridiculous, it’s like an epidemic and I only realised how bad it was after my own Teddy was taken last week.”

Twink – whose real name is Adele King – also spoke tonight about the fact that herself and her old pal Linda Martin are back on talking terms.

“Linda and I have buried the hatchet and at least for once it’s not in each other’s backs,” she told independent.ie.

“She was brilliant and I’m delighted that our love of animals has brought us back together.

A man who was questioned by gardai over Teddy’s disappearance has been released and a file has been sent to the DPP.
