Gardai have joked there's "no need to get upset" after a truck containing milk jack-knifed.

The accident happened earlier today at Shournagh Line in Blarney, Co Cork.

Gardai shared a photo of the powdered substance scattered all over the icy road after the incident.

They said: "No need to get upset over spilt milk. Please drive to road conditions."

The road was closed for several hours while a cleanup was carried out but has since re-opened.
