A NASA astronaut has shared an incredibly clear and breathtaking aerial image of Dublin.

In fact, it's so clear that we doubt you'll have any problem identifying the capital's famous landmarks.

The image was shared by NASA astronaut Randy Bresnik on his Twitter account this morning.

"Good morning from @space_station, Dublin, Ireland #LoveDublin," he captioned the photo.

Bresnik has been in space since July and is scheduled to return to earth later this month.

He has remained on the International Space Station as part of the Expedition 52 and 53 crews.

Last month, Bresnik recorded a space walk with his GoPro camera and shared the footage through Twitter on Monday.

The video offered some beautiful scenes of our planet and instantly went viral.

'It’s a mesmerising view and reminder of 'the beauty of our planet Earth,' Bresnik says.

“A very peaceful planet,” one Twitter user commented. “It was hard to think that this place held so many problems, so many frustrations.”

Bresnik's aerial footage of Dublin has given people a renewed admiration for the city and reason for pause.

"What a breathtaking view," one Twitter user commented.

While another wrote, "Wow! What a photo, A beautiful city, even better looking from space!!"

"I can see my street on here," said another.
