Mercedes car smashes through shop window at Dublin launderette

Emergency services responded to a scene in Dublin this afternoon after a car crashed through a shop window.

A 2004 Mercedes drove through the window of the launderette in Crumlin shortly before 3pm.

Members of the Dublin Fire Brigade rushed to assist following the collision that caused significant damage to the store.

Firefighters from the Dolphin's Barn station reported that "everyone walked away" following the crash.

In a tweet highlighting the extent of the crash, the DFB re-iterated the importance of wearing a seatbelt while driving.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
