Man found dead in west Dublin 'likely' fell from vacant house

Gardaí are investigating after the body of a man was found in the backyard of a vacant house in West Dublin.

The man in his late 30s, who has yet to be identified, was found dead on the ground at the house on Station Grove in Clondalkin, a Garda spokesperson said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, and it is understood that he is believed to have fallen from the house.

The body remains at the location, which is being preserved as Garda await the arrival of the State Pathologist later today.

Gardaí received calls from concern residents near Station Grove in the west Dublin suburb around 9.30pm last night.

The man was found dead at the rear of the vacant house, the ground floor of which has been boarded up in recent weeks.
