Man arrested after almost €1m worth of cocaine and heroin seized following house search

A man has been arrested in Tipperary after heroin and cocaine with an estimated value of €850,000 was seized by gardaí.

Gardaí in Thurles searched a house at Reiska, Kilcommon early Wednesday morning and found a large quantity of drugs.

The man is currently being held at a Tipperary Garda Station under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

The seizure was made as part of Operation Thor.
