Lucky Lotto winners collect almost €900,000 of prizes in one day

There was no midweek slump at Lotto headquarters as five separate winners collected almost €900,000 between them today.

A delighted family from Co Carlow were the biggest winners as they scooped an incredible €500,000.

They netted the top EuroMillions Plus top prize on St Patrick's Day and bought their Quick Pick ticket at O'Reilly's Stores in Moffat Street in Hacketstown, Co Carlow.

Another punter from Co Derry collected their cheque for €250,000 today.

They bought their Quick Pick ticket in Kirkland’s Wee Shop in Moville, Co. Donegal and won the Lotto Plus 2 top prize on May 3.

A different group collecting their fortune was a mother and son syndicate who are €96,433 richer thanks to the EuroMillions Match 5 + Lucky Star on Tuesday night.

The generous mum gave her son lunch money that day and he picked up their golden ticket at Applegreen Service Station on North Street in Swords, Co. Dublin.

There were also two thrilled winners who are sharing Saturday's massive €12.3 million jackpot and four punters won the Lotto Match 5 Bonus prize, who each received €23,842.

Friday's jackpot is heading for an estimated €90 million, play in-store, on the National Lottery App or online by 7.30pm on Friday evening for your chance to win.
