Love-struck Dubliner launches poster campaign to find 'girl with the big smile' he spotted on bus route
A love-struck Romeo has launched a desperate bid to find a stranger he spotted on his bus route.
The unidentified man has placed a number of laminated posters near a Dublin bus stop in Finglas seeking "the girl with the BIG smile".
In a detailed message he described how he first spotted the woman almost four weeks ago late on a Friday night.
"You were talking with your friend and there was also a young boy there. I think you were talking in Polish? I cycled past you on a green bike and climbed over the fence and went into the first house over the fence.
"As I was closing the door you climbed over the fence too."
The writer then added: "I should have paid more attention and said something!!!"
He went on to say that the woman has been on his mind since then.
The pair missed each other again last Saturday, April 15.
The 'girl with the big smile' took the same 140 bus from the stop on Melville Road as the man towards Dublin City centre. The woman got off close to Glasnevin cemetery.
"I didn't realise it was you until you got off the bus. You sat on the back seat, had a beautiful BIG smile, were wearing a black skirt, black tights and flat cream coloured shoes.
"You got off the bus near Glasnevin Cemetery and it was only then that I realised it WAS you!!! I'M SO STUPID!!!"
The lovesick writer has now launched a desperate bid to find the mysterious woman.
He wrote: "If you are reading this I will be on the 140 bus service going to Dublin City at this stop on Saturday, 22nd April at 09.20. If you are interested we can meet HERE or you can come to the house you saw me going into almost FOUR weeks ago.
"Do you remember??? ;-)" he asked.
