In a somewhat unlikely event for Ireland in terms of weather - Sunday November 1st is a very pleasant day!

Temperatures are between 14 and 16 degrees across most of the country and the sun has paid a visit to most parts, but sadly not the traditionally sunny south-east.

Enjoy while it lasts as temperatures tonight will dip to seven degrees with patches of drizzle in some places.

And it looks like the unseasonal sunny weather will continue into Monday and Tuesday, although temperatures will fall to 12 degrees on the latter day, with some patches of rain exepcted.

Rain will become more widespread on Tuesday night.

Wednesday will be sunny again but with more cloud.

And then we're heading into some 'changeable' weather on Thursday and Friday and into the weekend.

So make the most of it today - and get out there if you can!
