A desperate mother has appealed to the Irish public help find her daughter's teddy bear which was lost in Dublin's city centre.

Roisin has launched an online appeal in the hope of securing Teddy's safe return to her three-year-old daughter.

The mother-of-one said that she has a "sad little girl wanting her friend back" after the bear was mislaid on Henry Street on Tuesday afternoon.

Roisin has told her young daughter that her favourite cuddly toy is 'on holiday', showing her photos of the bear on her laptop.

She has said she is "so grateful" with the response and assistance following the appeal.

"So many people trying to help me find Teddy. I am so grateful. Faith in humanity restored," she tweeted.
