An Irish man who had been missing in the UK since Wednesday has been found.

Mick Finnegan, a rugby coach who has been living and working in the UK for some time, had not been seen by family or friends since he vanished from his home in Greenwich during the week.

He is originally from Dublin but has been working as a rugby coach in London.

Tonight London Irish said Kent police have confirmed that Mr Finnegan has been found and is safe.

It is believed he is recovering in hospital.

Mr Finnegan appeared on the fifth series of the Sky television programme 'School of Hard Knocks', which works to help young people from various backgrounds to find work.
