An innovative young Irish woman has published a video of her life in 2014 - using one second clips to portray every day of last year.
Edwina Guckian, who posted 'A Year in my Shoes' to YouTube on January 2, recorded the footage as she has "so many happy memories" that she never wants to forget.
"I said to myself I'm going to record one second of every day in 2014 and always be able to look back and appreciate how special that year was," she wrote in an accompanying post.
The video from the Leitrim primary school teacher is broken up into twelve segments, clearly marking the months of the year.
Families scenes, Irish landscapes, treasured gifts, beloved pets, new babies, trad music sessions and theatre plays all feature in the near eight minute montage.
And let's not leave out the broken shoes, old film clips and holiday shots that also manage to make an appearance.
Using backing tracks 'Way Back When' from Kodaline and Imagine Dragon's 'On Top of the World', musician Edwina recorded all of the footage on her "very battered iPhone 5".
"Thanks to everyone for the laughs, love, memories and most of all ADVENTURES! Edwina x," she wrote below the video which has clocked up over 24,500 views so far.
But it is perhaps the grand finale that will be Edwina's most memorable day of 2014.
