The annual Pets in the City, organised by Dublin City Council and supported by the DSPCA and the DSPCA Dog Training Academy, took place today in Dublin.

Pet enthusiasts were met with a range of stalls offering deals on all kinds of animal accessories, grooming products, toys and novelty items as well as the opportunity to avail of micro-chipping and pet health advice from the DSPCA.

The DSPCA Dog Training Academy also hosted Dog Agility Workshops and Scruffs Dog Show, where members of the public were invited to enter their own furry friends.

We headed to Smithfield to check out some of the cute pets in attendance - scroll through our gallery and watch our video below to take a look.
