'He caught my eye immediately' - Swedish woman looking for mystery Irishman she met on a cruise
A lovesick Swedish woman is on the lookout for a "very nice" Irishman she met on a cruise.
Carina Gungor met the mystery man on a 24-hour cruise that departed from Stockholm two weeks ago.
She said that sparks flew between them but sadly they have lost touch.
Speaking on Liveline on RTE Radio one, she said: "I'm looking for an Irish man I met in Sweden a few weeks ago, I met him on a cruise.
"I think he was very nice but I lost him and I want to get in contact with him.
"There was a party atmosphere, that's why Swedish people go on these cruises, to eat good food, to party, to dance.
"I did talk to him, he caught my eye immediately, after a while we were talking and he asked would I like to keep him company."
She continued to say: "Yes he'll know my name but I think I might have misunderstood his name, I've tried to Google him but no luck.
"I was wearing a purple dress and he said he was fond of it.
"We were talking about Eurovision Song Contest and Swedish music such as Abba.
"I hope we meet, I don't care if it is in Sweden or Ireland but I do (want to see him)."
Carina added that although the man didn't speak Swedish, they were still able to enjoy a conversation.
She said: "I had to try and speak English the best I can."
She continued to say that she has been married before to a Turkish man but has been single for around six years and has two teenage sons.
She also told Joe Duffy that the man she's looking for said he's a labourer who is working in Dublin but is originally from a different area in Ireland.
Carina noted: "He's aged between 45 and 60, rather tall, clean-shaven with short hair."
Carina said that she has never been to Ireland but said : "I've always wanted to go, I've heard it's beautiful, even though he said it's always raining."
