Mickey Harte has described how he still misses his murdered daughter Michaela "so, so much" in a rare television interview on her death.
The Tyrone Gaelic football boss spoke about her tragic death with Pat Kenny for the broadcaster's new UTV programme which begins tonight.
Michaela was murdered while on honeymoon in Mauritius with her husband John McAreavey in 2011.
After they had eaten lunch at their five-star hotel, the former beauty queen returned to their room to get biscuits.
Her devastated husband discovered her body in the bathtub of their suite.
She had been married for only 11 days when she was killed.
Mr Harte spoke openly about his heartache and also how his strong religious faith continues to help him cope with his loss on a day-to-day basis.
He said: "I still miss her so, so much and, in human terms, your heart is broken. But, on a higher level, I just feel there is a connection - a special connection - and I can only just believe that that's the work of God and the work of Michaela."
Two hotel employees were acquitted of murder charges after a seven-week trial in Mauritius in 2012.
Investigations appeared to have ground to a halt until last September, when her family was informed of new developments by the island's police chiefs.
