Gardai renew appeal to help locate missing man (33) after car found

Gardai have renewed their appeal for a 33-year-old man has been reported missing from his home in Co Kildare.

Michael Anesu Nhema was last seen at approximately 9am on Tuesday, April 14, at Branswood in Athy.

Originally from Zimbabwe, Michael has been described as being 5ft 6 inches in height with a slight build.

However, a man who attended Trinity College Dublin with Michael has told Independent.ie he believes that his height may be closer to 6 foot.

The distinction "might prove helpful", Bryan McMahon said.

Michael has black hair and brown eyes but gardai have no description of clothes he may have been wearing.

His car, a black Audi A4 131 D, was located at Raheen Car park, Bray on the morning of Friday, April 17.

Michael's family and Gardai are very concerned for his welfare and are appealing for anyone with information to contact Athy Garda Station on 059 8631669, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
