Gardai investigating gangland murder appeal for information on white Audi car found burnt-out at scene

Gardaí investigating the murder of Paul Kavanagh in Dublin last week have appealed to the public for help in relation to a white Audi car which was recovered burnt-out near the scene.

Paul Kavanagh (27) was shot dead after sustaining shots in the face and the chest.

He was targeted by two men wearing balaclavas at Church Avenue, Drumcondra on Dublin's northside at around 11.30am on March 26.

The car - a white Audi A1 registration number 142-D-4628 - was the subject of an unauthorised taking in the Dublin on March 11.

A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have observed, or [who has] information regarding the whereabouts and movements of this car between 11/3/2015 and the morning of 26/3/2015 to contact the incident room at Ballymun Garda Station.”

“Investigating Gardaí are particularly interested in sightings of the car in and around the Drumcondra area on the morning of the incident,” the spokesperson said.
