Gardai appeal for witnesses after armed robbers threaten staff and steal money from Aldi supermarket
Gardai have launched an investigation after an armed robbery took place in an Aldi supermarket in Dublin today.
The robbery took place at the Aldi supermarket in Santry, north Dublin.
A garda spokesman said that three males entered the main premises at 2pm wearing hoodies and scarves.
They were armed with a wheelbrace and a metal bar and threatened staff before making off with an undisclosed sum of cash.
No injuries were reported.
