Gardaí in Nenagh have renewed their appeal for witnesses after an elderly man was killed in a three-vehicle crash on the M7 in Tipperary.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who travelled on the M7 motorway between Dublin and Limerick at around 2pm on Tuesday, January 16.

Anyone travelling along that route with a dashcam in use is asked to contact them.

The collision occurred on the Nenagh side of the Birdhill service station, which is approximately 1km from Exit 27.

A man, aged in his 70s, was killed while two other people were brought to University Hospital Limerick.
