Gardaí not treating sudden death of man at house in Donegal as suspicious

Gardaí are not treating the sudden death of a man at a house in Donegal as suspicious.

Emergency services were called to a house in Carndonagh at around 8pm on Thursday.

The man (37) was pronounced dead a short time later and his body was removed to Letterkenny Hospital.

A post mortem was carried out on Saturday morning and a preliminary report has been provided to Gardai.

While the details of the report cannot be released "for operational reasons", investigating gardai have confirmed they are not treating the death as suspicious.

A file will be prepared for the coroner.
