A man in his 20s has been arrested over the murder of pensioner Paddy Lyons.
The suspect was arrested under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and is being detained at a garda station in Co Waterford.
He can be held for up to 24 hours.
Mr Lyons was found dead by a neighbour shortly after 5pm on Saturday in Ballysaggart, just outside Lismore and was last seen alive on Friday evening.
