A multi-vehicle crash on the N4 road into Dublin led to delays for a number of fans travelling to Croke Park this afternoon.

The crash, which occurred shortly after midday, resulted in tailbacks into the city from the Galway direction.

Emergency services attended the scene on the N4 Lucan Road inbound at Liffey Valley (Junction 2).

AA Roadwatch said that traffic was slow inbound from as far back as Newcastle (Junction 4) to the Liffey valley exit.

Gardai have also attended the scene of the incident.
