Four adults escape injury after shots fired through front door

Four adults have escaped injury after shots were fired through a front door in west Belfast.

It happened at a house in the Falcarragh Drive yesterday at 10.15pm.

Police received a report that two shots had been fired from the footpath outside the house.

The shots passed through the front door and embedded in the stairs.

Four adults - two men and two women aged between 18 and 50 were in the property at the time escaped injury.

Detective Inspector Michelle Griffin said: "I would appeal to anyone with any information to contact Detectives in Musgrave on 101. Information can also be passed anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
