Firefighters battled fires at car dealership and restaurant in Dublin last night

Firefighters in Dublin battled two serious blazes in Dublin city last night.

The first broke out at Phoenix Motor Centre at Prussia Street.

The Dublin Fire Brigade was called to the scene at about 9:30pm.

Three units attended the scene and the blaze took about two hours to get under control.

The second fire broke out at Brasserie 66 restaurant on South Great George's Street in the city centre at about 4am today.

Fire units from Dolphin's Barn and Tara Street stations attended the scene and it is reported that the fire took two and a half hours to extinguish.

It is unclear as of yet how the fires started. No one was injured in either fire.
