A blaze at an apartment was tackled by crews from three fire stations this afternoon.

Five fire engines, an ambulance, three pumps and a District Officer from Nutgrove, Dolphin's Barn and Tallaght all attended the scene of the fire at an apartment at Bushy Park House in Templeogue.

A spokesman from Dublin Fire Brigade told Independent.ie that the alarm was raised at around 1.15pm.

He said that the blaze was extinguished but crews are still at the scene.

He added: "There are no reported injuries and as far as I know the ambulance has left the scene."
