Pressure: A Dublin Fire Brigade ambulance crew prepares for New Year's Eve chaos

Four units of the Dublin Fire Brigade attended a fire in Dublin's city centre this evening.

The blaze occurred in a premises on Jervis Lane, Dublin 1, in the north inner city.

It is not known if the premises was private or commercial.

Nobody was injured during the incident.

It's been reported that members of the fire brigade had to force their way into the property to tackle the blaze.

Gardai remain at the scene until the premises is secured.

The incident occurred at approximately 6pm this evening and the fire has since been put out.
