A 3.0 magnitude earthquake rattled parts of Wales when it hit Caernarfon in Gwynedd today.

The minor earthquake occurred at 3.41pm today, according to British Geological Survey.

Parts of Anglesey and north Wales also felt the tremor.

BBC News said police received calls about the earthquake, but there have been no reports of any damage or disruption.
