'Celebrate Christmas in style' - EuroMillions winner warned they've just days left to claim €500K prize

A Lotto winner has been warned that time is running out and they have just days left to collect their €500,000 prize.

The punter scooped a life-changing €500,000 in the EuroMillions Plus draw on September 28 but have not yet claimed their winnings.

The National Lottery is urging the anonymous person to come forward so they can celebrate Christmas in style but if they do not get in touch by close of business on December 28 they aren't eligible to keep the cash.

The winning €7 Quick Pick ticket was bought on September 25 at the Kilmoon Service Station in Ashbourne, Co. Meath.

The numbers drawn were 17, 31, 37, 40, 46.

National Lottery Chief Executive Dermot Griffin, said today: “There is somebody out there with a EuroMillions Plus ticket worth €500,000 so we are appealing to our players to check their tickets carefully.

"The deadline for this prize is December 28th and we would love to see the winner or winners in our Winners’ Room so they can celebrate the holiday season in style.”

The National Lottery has also confirmed that the winner of the €1 million EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle prize from Friday October 27 has still not yet made contact.

The winning Quick Pick ticket for the draw was sold at the Londis Attyfinlay Autocentre, Carrick on Shannon in Co Leitrim.
