Caught on CCTV: Gang who carried out targeted raid on supermarket wanted

The PSNI has released a batch of CCTV pictures of more than a dozen people wanted for questioning over various offences carried out in the north west last year - including four women carried out a targeted raid on the Asda store on Branch Road in Strabane, Co Tyrone.

The gang were captured on camera as they went about the theft on August 7 last year.

Allegedly working in concert, the four women filled two supermarket trolleys full of goods including DVDs and even a television before leaving the store without paying.

Police in Londonderry also want to speak to a man about threats made in takeaway food business Cairo 24/7 on Strand Road in Strabane on August 31 last year.

A woman is also wanted for questioning about a theft from Superdrug in Ferryquay Street in Derry on August 1, while police would also like to speak to two women about a theft from B&M Bargains on Strand Road on August 16.

A man is also wanted for questioning in connection with the theft of a car from Beechleigh Park in the city on September 29.

A woman is being sought over a theft from Debenhams in Foyleside last November.

Police would like to speak to another two women about a theft from Heatons in Branch Road in Strabane on June 26, while a another woman is wanted over a fraud at Dolan's Filling Station on Lifford Road in Strabane at approximately 5pm on August 15.

Anyone with information on any of the people pictured is asked to contact police at Strand Road PSNI station in Derry or Strabane on the 101 non-emergency number.
