Broadcaster Anton Savage has appealed for help locating his motorbike after it was stolen outside a supermarket this evening.

The former TodayFM host took to Twitter shortly after the incident where he revealed that the Suzuki bike was taken from a Lidl in East Wall.

Posting an image of bike, he wrote: "If you happen to see this anywhere around the East Wall, maybe gis a shout. Just nicked from outside the Lidl and I'd really like it back."

Anton went on to say the vehicle was taken by "3 little thieves, in the time it took to buy bread".

He also gave the registration plate for the 12-year-old motorbike.

Last year Anton revealed that he was getting back on a motorbike for the first time in 25 years  as part of the station's Dare to Care campaign.

He's also a Formula Sheane racing driver and previously worked as a motoring correspondent with The Last Word on TodayFM.
