Motorists warned as fire brigade deal with vans ablaze near busy road

The Dublin Fire Brigade issued a warning this evening after a fire near a busy motorway caused issues for some motorists.

Dublin Fire Brigade reacted to an incident near junction five on the the N7 motorway at approximately 5:30pm.

Several vans were ablaze at the scene.

Dublin Fire Brigade warned motorists not to be distracted by the flames in a tweet stating: "We're dealing with some vans on fire near the the #N7 Jct 5 outbound. Please don't let the smoke distract you on the Naas Road."

Fortunately there were no injuries and the incident has since been cleared.
