THE mother of Ana Hick, the teenage girl who died after collapsing outside a nightclub, posted a heartbreaking video of the pair singing a Disney song together on her Facebook page.

The 18-year-old, from Dalkey in Co Dublin, died after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest outside the Twisted Pepper nightclub on Middle Abbey Street.

She was due to turn 19 tomorrow.

In the video Elga posted early this morning, the pair are singing ‘Part of your world’ from the ‘Little Mermaid’ soundtrack.

The  two are smiling and giggling as they sing along to the song while Elga drives.

The head of the Irish Film Academy and close friend of Elga spoke to Pat Kenny on Newstalk this morning about the tragedy.

Fair City star Rachel Sarah Murphy paid tribute to 'beautiful' Ana.

“She had an infectious laugh. Ana laughed and everybody laughed. She was the most extraordinary young girl.

“She was so bright, so bright. She worked hard in everything that she did. It was never haphazard, she was always there and a fantastic team player.

“She was just so fun, and a beautiful sweet young woman.

“Ana was great fun and full of life. There was nothing Ana wouldn’t do for you, she was just one of life’s beautiful people.”

She said she spoke to Elga this morning, and that both her and Ana's father Tim are very grateful for all the support.

“They have all asked me say thank you to everyone for their support, it has been extraordinary.”

Ana was an only child - and Rachel said the video Elga posted to Facebook was typical of the strong mother-daughter relationship the pair had, and that they were best of friends.

“They’ve done lots of these videos the two of them I watched it this morning in tears.

“That was the fun, they had such a fun relationship and you got that from the video.
