More tests in mystery death

FURTHER forensic tests are to be carried out after a post-mortem on the body of a pensioner discovered in an apartment failed to establish the cause of death.

The body of Stanley Giles, a 65-year-old father of three, was discovered in a flat in the west Cork village of Glandore on Sunday.

Mr Giles may have been dead for up to a week when the discovery was made.
