Commuters in the capital faced delays for yet another day this week after they were affected by Luas delays.

Earlier this week, Dublin commuters were delayed on the DART following two separate incidents.

This morning, the Luas Green line began to experience delays at approximately 7.50am.

The delays were due to a power outage in Sandyford.

The outage has since been fixed but the line still experienced delays of up to 5 minutes up to 10am.

A tweet from the official Luas account reads: "Green Line running with delays this morning due to earlier incident, average of between 3-5 minutes. Pls accept our apologies."
