MIRIAM O'Callaghan enjoyed a family break at the weekend.
The 'Prime Time' presenter and mother of eight took an Easter holiday with her children in Dingle, her "favourite place in the world".
She took time out to open the new Salamander Art Gallery in Cathair an Treantagh near Ventry.
Accompanied by her son Jamie (6), she said she was going to donate the two paintings given to her by artists Sarah Williams and Sioban Fawl to a cause close to her heart -- the new recreational room she recently opened at Crumlin Children's Hospital in Dublin.
Ms O'Callaghan, whose late father Jerry was from Castleisland, said she felt lucky that he was from Co Kerry.
"When the sun is shining, there's no nicer place to be in the whole world," she said.
